In these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS teasers, Phyllis appears before the judge, but will she be held accountable for her crimes? Maybe she still has something up her sleeve?
It was bad enough that Phyllis agreed to Jeremy Stark’s scheme to have Diane falsely accused of Diane’s “murder,” but when she had second thoughts about leaving her kids, he turned on her and she was compelled to kill him in self-defense! It’s now time for the redhead to appear before the judge and receive her punishment after being convinced to surrender herself in.
The judge is informed by Phyllis that “I took a man’s life.” “And I’m powerless to undo it.” Christine, on the other hand, is committed to vigorously pursuing this matter and preventing her rival from escaping responsibility. The lawyer insists, “Laws have been broken, and we cannot forget that.”
Phyllis bursts into tears as Heather defends her and she pleads her case. She cries, “I’m pleading with you for mercy.” “Please!” Will the judge’s decision be affected by her tears, though? Or is the fact that Carson gave false testimony in Phyllis’ favor ultimately what gets her out of jail?
Children of Phyllis talk about her predicament in the meantime, and Summer wants to see Phyllis punished because of what she has done to her own life. Summer says, “She’s had to pay the price for what she did. As Phyllis says over the phone, “Everything is about to change.” Never have words been so accurate!
