Greetings from the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL, Lily Anne Harrison! The actress will take on the role of Andrea Gates, who could serve as Molly and TJ’s surrogate. She will make her debut the week of August 14th, according to the most recent issue of Soap Opera Digest.
Gregory Harrison (Gregory) is related to her because he is her father, so yes! Harrison recalled her father’s advice to her after she was cast in GH as, “Look, it’s a lot of lines, but it’s a lot of fun once you get into the swing of it. He was really helpful, in fact.
When Molly discovered that her endometriosis would prevent her from carrying a child, she and TJ started looking into other options for building the family they had always wanted. While Molly’s sister, Kristina, offered to serve as their surrogate, she felt that doing so would only complicate matters further and that Kristina wouldn’t be able to recognise the child as her niece rather than her daughter.
As a result, Molly and TJ met with a surrogate expert who promised to compile a list of potential surrogates for them to meet and interview. Obviously, this list will include Andrea. Could she be the one they decide to have the baby with?
On September 5, 2022, Harrison gave birth to a son named Jack Cooper Facinelli, her first child with fiancé Peter Facinelli. Now that her character is carrying a child for Molly and TJ, she might be sporting a fake baby bump!
