Tessa James, a former star of Home and Away, has revealed her significant metamorphosis on live television.

The beloved celebrity had her first televised interview since 2015 on Thursday during an appearance on The Morning Show.

James, who is now a mother of three boys, played Nicole Franklin in the Australian soap opera from 2008 to 2011.

However, despite the fact that many people would recall her bleach blonde hair and surfer girl image from the program, James looked significantly different when she spoke with Kylie Gillies and Matt Doran on TMS.

A far cry from the low-cut trousers and skimpy singlets she wore on Home and Away, the actress’s now dark blonde hair was pulled back into a chic bun, and she donned a fashionable Albus Lumen white suit.

However, James has changed more than just her appearance; the former actress has also disclosed that she has started on a new career route.

In addition to studying interior architecture, the 32-year-old has founded the home style company AKI Interior Design with her mother and sister.

She remarked, “I’ve always been creative, and both my sister and my mother are interior architects.

“We made the decision to band together, relaunch AKI, and go all out.

“I’m studying interior architecture – I’m halfway through that degree – and we just really enjoy working with each other.

“With each other, we make a pretty strong support system and are able to lend a hand to one another. This is a beautiful juggling act because my sister also has a young daughter.

Nate Myles, a former professional NRL player, is married to James, and the two have already collaborated on a number of significant projects.

She said, “Alexandra House and I really like Faulkner House.

They have a ton of furniture and are really wealthy, which is gorgeous. On the Gold Coast, we also designed a development called Awaken, which is now being built.

Kylie was impressed, and she then proposed that James hire her to renovate the Home and Away café.

She concurred, saying, “They should bring me back to redesign the Home and Away set.

“Kylie, what a great concept! I’ve always been really creative, Nicole—I was a clothes designer on the program!

But it’s like a second life for me, and it fits in with my current lifestyle really well. It’s also flexible with the boys.

However, it’s also incredibly stimulating for me and that other side of me, which is fantastic.
