Samia Longchambon from Coronation Street has posted a heartfelt message in honor of her wedding anniversary.
The actress Maria Connor is wed to Sylvain Longchambon, best known as a professional skater on ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
The couple wed in 2016, having first met in 2013 on a skating competition show. Samia is the mother of two kids: Yves Joseph, who is Sylvain’s son, and Freya, who she had with her ex-husband Matt Smith.
The actress recently updated her Instagram page, posting images from her and Sylvain’s celebration of their seventh wedding anniversary.
The first picture shows Sylvain and Samia together, while the other two show the drinks they drank and a dish that has been decorated with the words “Happy 7th Anniversary” written in chocolate.
The meal, the beverages, and especially the company last night were all wonderful. She added a note that read, “Deserves a square on the grid!”

On her post, the actress received many kind remarks, some of which came from her Corrie castmates. Happy anniversary, you darling pair, said Sarah Platt’s actress Tina O’Brien, while Leanne Battersby’s Jane Danson added: “Happy Anniversary. Such beautiful memories of a fantastic weekend.
For more than 20 years, Samia has portrayed Maria on Corrie.
Back in February, she had a tense run-in with David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), who was battling Max Turner’s (Paddy Bever) radicalism plotline at the time.
Max was incarcerated at the time while awaiting sentencing for his participation in Griff’s (Michael Condron) right-wing gang.
David ended himself getting intoxicated in Victoria Garden and was discovered by Maria as he struggled to digest the recent occurrences.
Maria listened to David with sympathy, but David misjudged the circumstance and went in for a kiss.
He worried that it might be the end of his marriage to Shona (Julia Goulding) in the aftermath, but happily, they were able to work things out.
