The 35-year-old Coronation Street star started dating fellow actor Iwan in October, but they didn’t make it Instagram official until late December 2022.
Faye and Iwan Lewis, who met while appearing in the stage version of Legally Blonde, announced their engagement in January after only four months of dating.
In a private church ceremony in the Cotswolds, the pair exchanged vows in the presence of family and friends.
In her magnificent gown at her dream white wedding, Faye could not contain her joy.
The pair left the chapel holding hands as they appeared the picture of elegance at the spectacular countryside wedding.
The couple had a tender kiss in front of their family and friends before Iwan drove them to the reception in a vintage wedding car.
Faye donned a detailed lace dress with pearl embellishments, a semi-sheer corset that cinched at the waist, and the bottom half billowing out into a dramatic skirt. The dress gave her an ethereal aspect.
The gorgeous dress draped gracefully over the bride, and the bustier style had tulle sleeves to match the veil.
The former Corrie star pushed back her long brunette hair, accessorized with pearl earrings, and wore a transparent veil.
She carried a lovely arrangement of flowers that matched the exquisite roses that were used to decorate the chapel with daisies and gypsophila.
Iwan matched his elegant appearance with a sophisticated black suit, white shirt, and brown suede shoes.
In addition, he added identical flowers to his top pocket to liven up his clothing.
As they took pictures of the couple exiting the chapel, their friends and relatives who were present to support them were happy.
The couple left the chapel in a vintage automobile, and then there was a reception.
The newlyweds have been friends for 15 years, yet they chose to marry right away after addressing their detractors.
We’ve waited long enough, Faye, who played Kate Connor on the cobblestones, said in an interview with The Mirror earlier this year.
“I could have used the adage “When you know, you know” in the past. But until now, I’ve never really understood what that actually means. There is no room for uncertainty, anxiety, or trepidation.
“I don’t care what people think about anything,” Iwan continued, “but the reality is that when I look into the eyes of my nearest and dearest, they get it.”
