This October, when Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) car crashes off a cliff while she is inside, her life will actually hang in the balance on Emmerdale.
The ITV soap’s love triangle plotline will come to a horrific conclusion with the young mother, her boyfriend Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), and love rival Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) all involved in a fatal collision.
The aforementioned scenes, which will run in October as part of Emmerdale’s Super Soap Week offerings, are now being shot. The Sun has received photos from the on-location shoot, which also included actors Lawrence Robb, Emma Atkins, and Jessie Elland.
It’s assumed that Mackenzie exits the car in time, but she doesn’t appear to be able to save Chloe before the automobile plunges off the side of the cliff.
The next scene shows Charity and Mack engaged in a contentious discussion regarding what just happened.
These sequences are unquestionably all action, a source told the newspaper. Charity is determined to exact revenge on Mackenzie for sticking with Chloe.
“However, viewers will need to wait to find out who survives.”
In Friday’s (August 25) episode of the ITV soap opera, Charity considered the prospect of exacting revenge on Mackenzie after learning that he had chosen to remain with Chloe, the mother of his kid Reuben.
Fans are aware that Mack previously dated Charity, whom he regarded to be the love of his life. However, following a disagreement with his intended spouse, Mack slept with Chloe, who later gave birth to his son.
Just weeks after their wedding, Charity ended her relationship with Mack after learning the truth about the infidelity. Charity was left distraught. However, the two found it difficult to hold their feelings in check. In scenes from earlier this week, Mack and Charity spent the night together, rekindling old passions.
However, Mack’s decision to stay with Chloe hurt Charity, who had hoped to see him again and try again.
But it’s apparent that there will be more surprises because Super Soap Week turned out to be painful for the trio. Will Chloe be able to survive this and come out alive? Will Mack and Charity, specifically?
In either case, this will undoubtedly be a week not to be missed.
