Sally Carman, who plays Joe Duttine on Coronation Street, recently tweeted a photo with the “love of her life,” who, surprise, is not Joe.
The actress, who portrays Abi Webster in the ITV serial opera, has been wed to Joe, who plays Tim Metcalfe, for more than a year.
Covid caused the pair to postpone their wedding several times, but they finally tied the knot in 2022 in front of their loved ones.
But despite the fact that Sally has frequently talked about her love for Joe, in her most recent social media post, she mentions an other ‘love of her life’.
Figz, of course, was her favorite dog.
The soap star posted several pictures of the animal on social media, including a selfie of the two of them, and we are in utter awe.
She wrote, “This boy.” “The love of my life without a doubt.”
Sally’s Corrie co-stars were quick to respond, with Glenda Shuttleworth’s Jodie Prenger writing: “Love this,” and DS Swain’s Vicky Myers adding, “Just look at him.”
Abi, played by Sally, has had a more subdued year, but she will play a significant role in upcoming sequences with Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney).
Cassie, who is Tyrone Dobbs’ biological mother, is appreciative of the opportunity to work at the garage when drug dealer Dean shows up and demands money from her.
Abi recognizes Dean, which increases her suspicions. Later, Cassie claims she is waiting for a customer when she refuses to go to lunch, but Abi is well aware of what is happening because when she comes back, she is helping herself to the cash in the office.
