Dee-Dee Bailey is set to receive the ultimate surprise in emotional scenes set to air on Coronation Street next week as Glenda and George Shuttleworth feud and Toyah gets arrested
After weeks of hounding The Institute about their suspicious dealings with her sister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), Toyah (Georgia Taylor) discovers she is being sued by the company for defamation. But things only get worse when she is arrested after the body of a baby was found buried in the car park, but will she come clean?
Elsewhere, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) finally meets Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) parents, but things take a rocky turn and she storms out of the restaurant. The solicitor is surprised to see Joel call in at the flat, and after apologising for his Mum’s behaviour he drops to one knee and asks her to marry him. What will she say?
Meanwhile, tensions have been rising between siblings Glenda and George Shuttleworth following the death of their father. Determined to get her half of the will, the barmaid sues her brother for half of his business and his house. But will they be able to resolve this out of court?
