EastEnders viewers were left scratching their heads during the latest instalment of the popular BBC soap as they questioned why Bianca Jackson was still in the show
Fans of EastEnders have been left confused as Bianca Jackson was still continuing business as usual on the Square.
The iconic character, played by Patsy Palmer, made a return to the East End last month. Bianca’s comeback was scheduled to tie into Whitney Dean’s exit storyline, with a special episode dedicated to Whitney.
However, it looks like Bianca, who first joined the soap in 1993, may be staying for a while longer as she gets accustomed to her old life. On Monday’s episode, Bianca was seen working at the Cafe after previously securing the job.
But dedicated viewers found the whole thing strange and questioned why she was still around. Heading over to X one fan wrote: “Bianca hasn’t headed back up north yet?”
Another echoed: “Bianca is still about?” While a third also questioned: “Why is Bianca still here? I thought she was only here for a month leading up to Whitney’s exit?”
Replying to the queries, one fan wrote: “Yeah I thought so too. Unless there’s something big planned for her, like a Jackson family reunion or something happens to Sonia. Then there’s her old life in Milton Keynes – Morgan who’s 18, I wonder if he’ll turn up in Walford soon…”
Another fanalso attempted to demystify the confusion and wrote: “Patsy Palmer is already back here in the US. Has been since April per her social media. She should be exiting in the next couple of weeks.”
Fans have been speculating how Bianca will leave the show over the last few weeks and headed to Reddit to share their thoughts on her exit. One fan said: “I guess she’ll just head back to Milton Keynes in her van. Maybe expose Junior’s infidelity before she goes,” they added.
A second penned: “She’ll definitely do something to leave absolute chaos behind her, that’s for sure.” Despite this, other fans reckon Bianca’s exit could coincide with a reunion with her ex-partner Ricky, who she has had a tumultuous relationship with over the years.
One fan said: “Both Tiffany and Liam now live in Germany. With RICKAAAAAY! Bianca could visit them as she misses the kids, and end up getting back with RICKAAAAAY!”
