The summer of 2024 kicked off for General Hospital star Laura Wright (Carly) and her beau, Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter), with a trip to beautiful Aspen, CO! The couple visited the resort town in the Rocky Mountains to spend some quality time with the GH star’s son, John (aka LJ), who stayed in the state after graduating from Colorado State University last year.
“Five days in Aspen,” Wright captioned an Instagram gallery of breathtaking photos. “My heart is full.”
The actress — who CBS soap fans remember best as Cassie on Guiding Light — indicated that their trip was far too short by including the hashtag “never long enough” — and we can see by these amazing photos why she may have been tempted to extend her time hanging out with LJ and his girlfriend, Emily!

Wright seemed to be at “peace” with the lush, green landscape surrounding her.
Aspen is known for its great skiing, but it is also a popular year-round destination for outdoor activities, which LJ and Ramsey seemed to take advantage of with a vigorous hike.
Emily, LJ, Wright, and Ramsey enjoyed a double date at a local restaurant!
Even though it was late May/early June, many mountain caps were still covered in snow, as you can see behind LJ, Wright, and Ramsey!

Crater Lake at the Maroon Bells is one of the Aspen/Snowmass area’s most popular hiking trails.
Located inside the Rio Grande Park, the John Denver Sanctuary is a garden area that pays homage to the nature-loving late musician, whose ashes are scattered across the Rockies.
