Coronation Street promises explosive moments next week with a surprise hospital dash, shocking betrayals, and a resident’s unexpected exit.

Coronation Street fans are in for a gripping week as several explosive storylines unfold on the cobbles.

Next week’s spoilers hint at a surprise hospital dash involving Gail Platt, portrayed by Helen Worth, just as the Weatherfield icon prepares to bid farewell after five decades on the ITV soap.

Meanwhile, betrayal is in the air as two characters seem to spark a romance, leaving another resident feeling sidelined.

Additionally, one character makes the tough decision to leave Weatherfield temporarily, seeking a break after a series of personal struggles. Here’s a glimpse of the biggest storylines coming up next week…

Hospital dash

In upcoming episodes, Carla Connor (Alison King) drops a bombshell on David and Shona Platt (Jack P Shepherd and Julia Goulding) by revealing that she has made an offer on their house.

Meanwhile, tensions escalate at number eight as a heated argument erupts between Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), David, and Jesse Chadwick (John Thomson), a familiar face making his return to the cobbles.

However, the tension becomes overwhelming for Gail, leading her to lose her patience and throw her bickering children out of the house. Things quickly take a worrying turn when Gail begins struggling to breathe and clutches her arm, prompting Jesse to urgently call an ambulance.

Soon after, David, Sarah, and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) rush to the scene just as Gail is being taken to the hospital. Consumed with guilt, David and Sarah hold themselves responsible for triggering the argument with Jesse.

New betrayal

In the coming episodes, Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) grows suspicious and confronts Max Turner (Paddy Bever) about why he’s been acting distant. To his surprise, Bobby finds Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) with Max, further fueling his concerns. Although Max and Lauren deny avoiding him, Bobby becomes frustrated and presses them to reveal what they’re keeping from him.

Later in the week, seeking a distraction from Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) funeral, Lauren tries to make amends with Bobby by inviting him to join her for a visit to see her baby son Frankie in the hospital.

However, in the baby unit, Lauren is caught off guard when Max admits he has feelings for her—and to her surprise, she confesses she feels the same. But with Bobby standing right there, how will he react to this unexpected revelation?

Cobbles exit

Next week, Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) returns to her job at the Rovers but finds it hard to manage her emotions in the wake of her brother Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) recent tragic death.

Gemma’s other brother, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), expresses concern, telling her she returned to work too soon. He suggests she take some time to heal and offers her the use of a friend’s cottage in the Lake District. Later in the week, it’s confirmed that Gemma decides to leave the cobbles for a short break. The big question now is—how long will she stay away?

Secret exposed

Amid the ongoing turmoil within the Platt family and the return of Jesse, the character is taken aback by a startling revelation.

While searching for David’s daughter Lily’s bicycle pump in the cupboard, Jesse is bewildered by his unexpected find. After uncovering something hidden under the stairs, he presses David for a confession. Will David admit the truth to Jesse?

New romance teased

Meanwhile, next week, Kit is occupied with unraveling the mystery of Joel’s murder, tapping away furiously on his laptop in the back room of the Rovers.

Feeling annoyed, Daisy Midgeley, portrayed by Charlotte Jordan, remarks that she won’t miss the noise once he moves out. Kit, enjoying the playful exchange, suggests she might miss other things… Could this hint at a budding romance?
