Lacey Turner’s sister once made a cameo on the popular BBC One soap EastEnders.

Since her debut in 2004, Lacey has gained fame for her portrayal of Stacey Slater, becoming one of the show’s most cherished characters.

Throughout her time as Stacey, Lacey has taken on major storylines, addressing issues like bipolar disorder and murder, ensuring her journey in Walford is always filled with drama. Interestingly, it appears that acting talent runs in the family, as Lacey’s younger sister also made her mark in the soap world.

When Lacey took a temporary break from EastEnders in 2010, her sister Lily Harvey joined the cast. At just nine years old, Lily, using their mother’s surname for her acting career, played Shenice Quinn, the daughter of Kat Slater’s friend Martine.

Surprisingly, even executive producer Bryan Kirkwood was unaware of Lily’s connection to Lacey, admitting, “Whether by accident or design, I sat down and watched a video tape of a very talented young girl.”

“And it was only after we made our decision that I learned she was Lacey’s sister. So it was a complete accident,” reports the Daily Star.

Lily remained a guest star on EastEnders until August 2011, and although she received an offer for a full-time role, she chose to leave in 2012. Lacey’s other sister, Daisy Turner, also ventured into the world of soaps.

At 20 years old in 2011, Daisy joined the rival Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, where she portrayed the glamorous Jenny Houston.

Daisy shared that beginning her soap career was tough, especially with her older sister Lacey already well-established in the industry. In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, she mentioned, “All three of us do it.” Daisy noted that she and Lacey started acting as children, thanks to their mother, Bev, who encouraged them to explore various talents like singing, dancing, and acting.

When Daisy secured her role in Hollyoaks, Lacey was quick to offer her support, assuring her that she would be there if needed. Daisy recalled, “I was at home with my mum and sisters when I got the call to say I’d got the part. Lacey said if I need her, she is there.”

Daisy acknowledged feeling some pressure because of Lacey’s success and experience, admitting, “I suppose there is a bit of pressure because she is very good at what she does. She has been doing this for years, and I am just starting out.”
