Tina Dingle makes a shocking return to Emmerdale, bringing a massive secret with her – but fans believe they’ve already uncovered the truth.

Tina Dingle, who first appeared in the village back in 1994—originally portrayed by Jacqueline Pirie—has made a sensational comeback, now played by Samantha Power, with a shocking family secret.
Tina returned unexpectedly for the funeral of her father, Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell), whose death occurred off-screen. His body was brought back from Scotland to Emmerdale so the family could say their final goodbyes.
The Dingles were taken aback when an unfamiliar woman showed up at the funeral, clearly connected to the family. The mystery unraveled when Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) recognized the newcomer as Tina Dingle.
The real shock came as Tina stirred up drama, insulting the family mid-funeral and even attempting to claim ownership of the Dingle home, casting a shadow over Zak’s farewell.
It was soon revealed that Tina was wearing an electronic tag, and a police officer arrived to escort her away for breaching her probation. However, viewers are now convinced that Tina is hiding a significant secret—she has a child.
In the episode set to air tonight (October 21) at 7:30 pm on ITV1, Tina makes an appearance at Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) salon, PampaManda, proudly announcing that her tag has been removed.
Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), who was also at the salon, caught Mandy’s attention, prompting her to hastily try to get him to leave. Tensions quickly flared as Mandy found herself in a heated confrontation with Tina.
Tina bluntly told Mandy, “Maybe I’ve come for everything that belongs to me. Vinny is such a sweet boy, and it saddens me to think of everything I’ve missed out on. What’s mine is mine—my house, my son.”
Mandy, overwhelmed with emotion, fought back tears at the thought of Vinny discovering the truth about his parentage, especially since she has raised him after his father, Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale), abandoned them. The question remains: will Tina choose to disclose everything, or can they come to an understanding?
