Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) has stumbled upon a troubling secret about Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) in EastEnders.
Since Harry’s arrival with his father, Teddy (Roland Manookian), and brother, Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), viewers have been curious about the real reason behind their sudden move to Walford.
It’s been revealed that the brothers are distant from the family’s matriarch, who is expected to make her way to Albert Square soon.
Harry made quite an entrance in Walford, quickly grabbing the attention of Jack’s daughter, Penny (Kitty Castledine).
The two men clashed over what was best for her, and eventually came to blows last week after it was revealed that Jack had been blaming the wrong person for the club crush at Peggy’s.
A heated confrontation erupted in the Square, ending with Jack landing a punch on Harry.
Determined to get back at him, Harry began plotting with Penny.
With Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) supplying a video of the assault, Penny urged Harry to squeeze her dad for everything he could.
Later, when Jack showed up at The Arches, Harry delivered an ultimatum: Jack had until the end of the week to provide inside information from his role as a police officer – or the footage would be leaked online.
However, the copper had done some digging of his own and found out that Harry was suspect in the killing of his girlfriend, Shireen.
The family relocated to Walford after rumors spread in their previous neighborhood that Harry was responsible for Shireen’s death.
They had a heated argument witnessed by several people, and Harry was the last person seen with her before she died.
