In upcoming scenes of EastEnders, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) becomes increasingly suspicious of The Six after overhearing a secret conversation between Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).

When The Six arrange a meeting to discuss their statements from Christmas, Nish accidentally uncovers critical bits of information. Though he’s initially unaware of the full situation, he picks up on the group’s unease, particularly from Kathy and later from Suki.

Navin Chowdhry shared, “It’s not something that he’s actively thinking about, but seeing their suspicious behavior and recalling that he was nearly fatally injured prompts him to dig deeper and investigate.”

“He wasn’t suspicious of them at first. Even though the whole story seemed strange and implausible, he accepted it because he had other priorities—his family and winning back Suki.”

Despite The Six’s insistence that they have nothing to hide, Nish is not convinced. He insists on accompanying them to the police station for their re-interviews regarding the events of Christmas Day.

Later on, Nish confronts Suki about the truth of that fateful night, leaving her in shock.

“I think it’s a mix of disbelief and horror for Nish,” Navin explained. “He feels anger that this could happen to him, knowing that the people responsible are living their lives while he nearly lost his.

“There’s a vengeful instinct within him to seek retribution against those who hurt him, but there’s also a manipulative side that recognizes the opportunity this information presents—it’s probably the best card he’s ever been dealt.”

Following Nish’s instructions, Suki invites the other members of The Six over under false pretenses. It doesn’t take long for tensions to rise as the women realize their secret is no longer safe.

Determined to take control of the situation, Suki sends the other women home. However, she quickly realizes that dealing with Nish won’t be as simple as she had hoped.

The following day, Suki ignores Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) calls while bracing herself for her worst nightmare: Nish moving back in.

‘He’s totally going to use it for his advantage. He’s never had a better bargaining chip to blackmail Suki than the information which could send all of The Six to jail.
