CORONATION Street has left fans buzzing with curiosity as the cast and crew were seen filming court scenes for a storyline yet to be revealed.

The well-known Newton and Ridley truck, tied to the fictional brewery supplying the Rovers Return pub, was spotted in Bolton at Le Mans Crescent, close to the historic Bolton Magistrates Court, where crews had set up for filming.

Though details on the new storyline remain under wraps, this courthouse has hosted numerous court scenes in the ITV soap’s past.

Currently, the soap’s storyline focuses on a police probe into Joel Deering’s murder.

An on-site crew member confirmed to The Bolton News that filming was taking place. Although he didn’t specify the soap’s name, he hinted that the sight of the green van made it “obvious.”

Local signage indicated that parking restrictions were in effect for October 31 and November 1.

Bolton has frequently served as a setting for Coronation Street’s pivotal storylines, including scenes following Seb Franklin’s murder trial, filmed at this courthouse in July 2021 and 2022.

Georgia Taylor, known for playing Toyah Battersby, was seen in Bolton during the filming. Last year, the soap also shot scenes in the town multiple times, including in April and September, with the Newton and Ridley truck present in the September shoot.

In a recent episode, Kit Green hinted at a possible link to Joel’s murder.

Fans watched as the crooked solicitor took drastic steps off-screen to avoid accountability.

With ITV releasing an official list of possible suspects in Joel’s murder, Kit hinted at his guilt.

During Friday’s episode, viewers saw Kit assigned to the case after it was deemed that Lisa’s daughter Betsy’s connection to Joel would affect her objectivity.

Lisa mentioned that whoever was behind the wheel of the red car that clipped Greg’s wing mirror might hold key information about Joel’s fate.

This revelation visibly frustrated Kit, who snapped at Lisa, questioning why she hadn’t mentioned it sooner.

Craig Tinker was then instructed to list all red vehicles in the area at the time.

In a dramatic twist, Kit was caught deleting his car registration from the list back at the station.

Kit hasn’t been officially named as a suspect in Joel’s murder, adding a surprise twist.

It remains unclear how deeply he’s connected to the solicitor’s death or what he’ll do next.

Mason Radcliffe recently joined the pool of suspects, alongside Dee Dee, Ed, and Ronnie Bailey.
