Coronation Street has revealed the final suspects in the murder of Joel Deering (Calum Lill), as a new trailer teases more shocking developments.

Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) and Max Turner (Paddy Bever) are the latest to be added to the growing list of suspects. They join previously suspected characters, including Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael George), Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), Carla Connor (Alison King), and DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).

Next week, the truth behind Joel’s death will be revealed in a special episode, featuring flashbacks and police interviews with Kit, offering new insight into the night of the murder. The trailer hints at more twists, with Joel’s final moments on the railway track soon to be explained.

Joel’s body was discovered in a river, with two fatal blows to the head from a heavy weapon. The Bailey family has been under heavy suspicion, with both Ronnie and Ed questioned about their whereabouts on the night of the murder. Recent scenes showed Dee-Dee admitting to hitting Joel with a crowbar—though it’s unclear if she was responsible for his death.

Meanwhile, Carla noticed something suspicious on the night of the murder, and Kit seems to have covered up his own involvement. In upcoming episodes, Lisa will begin to suspect someone is framing her for the crime, but will she uncover the truth, or is she simply trying to protect herself?

Viewers will finally learn who killed Joel next week, and there’s an extra treat in store following the episode. On Friday, November 15 at 9pm, ITVX will air a live special featuring exclusive interviews and cast reactions after the killer’s identity is revealed, hosted by Sharon Marshall on location in Weatherfield.
