A few days ago on Coronation Street, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) discovered that teen Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) was homeless.

Initially, Tim and Sally (Sally Dynevor) thought they had a mouse problem when they noticed spilled food in their kitchen cupboards. But when they found a bag stashed in their shed, they realized someone had been living there.

Wanting to help, Tim allowed Mason to stay on their sofa, keeping it a secret from Sally. He didn’t fully consider the potential consequences of inviting this troubled young man into their home.

Yesterday, Sally noticed her mother’s ring was missing. Overcome with emotion about the missing ring and upset about Mason sleeping on her sofa, she assumed he was the culprit.

Tim attempted to confront Mason and his brothers but underestimated just how dangerous the Radcliffe family could be.

In the coming episodes, after Mason’s brothers are released without charges, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) tells Mason to lie and accuse Tim of tipping off the police.

Later in the week, Sally and Tim are shocked to find the word “grass” sprayed across their front door. Paranoid, Tim reassures Sally that he did indeed report Mason’s brothers to the authorities.

Soon after, Mason and Betsy see Logan getting into Tim’s taxi. Alarmed, they approach Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) to warn her that Tim might be in serious trouble.

Inside the cab, Logan instructs Tim to pull over. Moments later, Tim is stunned as Matty climbs in too. The brothers make it clear they’re about to “teach Tim a lesson”—but what exactly do they have in store for him?

And why does Tim always seem to end up in dangerous situations while driving his taxi?!
