In a special Emmerdale episode, Moira (Natalie J Robb) undergoes brain surgery, and Cain (Jeff Hordley) struggles as he faces the possibility of losing her.
The episode will depict Moira’s surgery, focusing on Cain’s emotional turmoil as he grapples with the situation. Cain’s storyline will be shown in reverse chronological order, beginning with Caleb (William Ash) discovering Cain drunk with bloodied hands.
As Moira and her family brace for the worst, actress Natalie J Robb spoke to the press, saying it could be “quite interesting” to explore a different side to Moira, as the surgery may impact her mood and personality long-term.
“There are still things to come for Moira, and she’ll need further treatment,” Robb explained. “So, we don’t know if everything will return to normal, but there could be some slight changes in her personality.”
Although Robb didn’t reveal specifics, she hinted that Moira might respond to situations differently after the trauma of the surgery.
She added, “She might not react in the same way, which could leave others feeling more unsettled. If no significant changes occur, she might still handle things differently going forward, because after coming so close to losing everything, life becomes more precious.”
As for how Moira will be after her surgery, viewers will have to stay tuned to see what unfolds.
