Emmerdale fans are growing increasingly concerned for Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) as they sense a dark twist looming, tied to Caleb Miligan’s new depot business venture.
In Wednesday’s (November 13) episode, Caleb (William Ash) was ready to unveil his new business, with Jai eagerly awaiting a return on his investment. However, as the business expanded, Jai kept his financial status hidden from his wife Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), at Caleb’s request, moving his funds into a concealed account.
Jai’s suspicions grew when he realized he hadn’t been assigned an office at the depot, while Caleb enjoyed a spacious desk of his own. Things took an even stranger turn when Kerry approached Jai for a job at the new venture, and Caleb eagerly hired her, despite Jai’s objections.
Viewers were quick to recall the previous time Jai and Kerry worked together at a warehouse, a tragic event that led to the death of Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) in a fire at the sweet factory back in 2019. Fans noted that the last time these two were involved in a warehouse disaster, it ended in catastrophe.
