Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) seems to be trying to turn his life around on Coronation Street, but his decision has placed him in grave danger.
The young man had recently spent the night on the Metcalfes’ sofa, but things took a dark turn when his brothers pressured him into breaking into their home to steal from Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine).
Sally was heartbroken to discover her car and her mother’s engagement ring were missing and soon suspected Mason was involved. When she confronted him, Mason admitted his brothers were the real thieves and promised to retrieve the stolen items.
He returned later, battered and unsuccessful, but didn’t give up on his mission. The next day, Sally received a call saying her car had been found, and Tim quickly figured out that Mason had been the one to alert the police.
Mason confessed to informing the authorities but begged Tim to keep it a secret. Tim later filled Sally in and returned the engagement ring, prompting a quiet celebration. However, Mason was visibly anxious, warning her not to draw attention to his role in the situation.
Mason feared his brothers would retaliate, even if they were arrested, and as he prepared to leave, he made a chilling comment, saying he was a “dead man walking.”
While Sally tried to brush it off, she couldn’t shake the worry. Is Mason truly in danger?
