On Home and Away, Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) is looking for work.
Bella has been floating through life since she abandoned her photography degree, according to her family friend Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir).
When Bella learns that Salt is short-staffed, she offers a job at the restaurant, Mackenzie is taken aback!
When Mackenzie suggested Bella obtain a job, she didn’t mean for them to live and work together.
Bella, on the other hand, is adamant that she can be a great waitress, so Mackenzie decides to give her a tryout.
Will Bella’s first day on the job also be her last after spilling a plate of food on the floor, providing a client-free dessert, and fighting with Mackenzie’s boyfriend, Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner)?
Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), Bella’s lover, is looking for new employment now that Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) is back to the Board Shop.
Nikau agrees to join John Palmer’s (Shane Withington) surf lifesaving course.
However, Nikau is immediately overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge required to become licensed beach lifesaving.
Nikau soon loses focus.
While John is taking a break, Nikau decides to amuse the rest of the class by imitating their team leader, John.
Only for John to unexpectedly return and catch Nikau in the act!

Dean was thrown off course when he experienced a panic episode after getting back behind the wheel of an automobile.
Doctor Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) tries to come up with some suggestions to help Dean overcome his fear of driving.
But Dean is still haunted by last year’s car crash, which almost killed him.
As a result, he fears that if he is the driver responsible for the safety of other passengers, he will always be a liability.
