After 11 years of marriage, former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall and Broadchurch actor Andrew Buchan are rumored to be splitting up for good because he allegedly disregarded her seven conditions she imposed after accusing him of infidelity.
Andrew Buchan, 44, allegedly received a second eviction notice from “gutted” Amy Nuttall, 41, after he disobeyed their seven-rule plan.
After his claimed liaison with married co-star Leila Farzad, 41, earlier this year, the Emmerdale actress enforced the list of conditions in an effort to maintain their marriage.
According to reports, these criteria included refraining from speaking to Leila, using Facetime to check in when working away from home, having access to each other’s phones, going out on a date every week, taking a trip every seven weeks, taking a vacation every seven months, and, ultimately, treating their careers “equally.”
It took a lot for Amy to give the marriage another shot, but she decided it was worth taking one last attempt, a source told The Sun.
There is no indication that he has cheated again, but this is the last time, in her opinion.
She is obviously devastated, but she also recognizes that their time together is over.
In response to his alleged infidelity in February, Amy reportedly established the guidelines last month.
He and Leila were working on the Better set of the BBC crime drama at the time.
According to a prior source who spoke to the media, Amy was “far from a pushover” but did not wish to end their marriage.
They said, “They will follow the 7-7-7 strategy, which calls for dates every seven days, overnight trips every seven weeks, and vacations every seven months for just the two of you.
This year’s Valentine’s Day was followed by the Emmerdale star posting a mysterious message to her social media accounts.
“I am not impressed by money, social status, or job title,” the post declared. The way someone respects other people really impresses me.
Andrew was spotted wearing his wedding band three months later, which led to rumors of a reconciliation.
The couple were married in 2012, and they have two kids together.
Leila was seen wearing a wedding band in March while she went out with her husband Jamie Maizels.
Since 2013, she has been happily married to her partner, and they have a kid.
Neither party has made a public statement on the issue as of yet.
