On Tuesday’s episode of Australian Survivor, Sam Frost delighted her fiancé Jordie Hansen with the wonderful news that she was expecting a child.
As Jordie answered a video call from the former Home and Away actress, he started crying on the Channel 10 program.
She revealed a shocking detail regarding the sex of their unborn kid during the conversation.
After Jordie got the opportunity to talk with his fiancee while he was on location in Samoa, they had a sweet moment.
In her eighth week of pregnancy, Jordie had left his pregnant partner behind to fight on the Heroes Vs. Villains season.
In scenes shot in August of last year, Jordie broke down when he learned the gender of his pregnant child.
‘Babe! God, oh, God. Hi!’ said Sam. I’m speechless that you triumphed, you tiny legend!
Look at what else I have for the baby, she said.
Sam then revealed to him that they were carrying a son by displaying a tiny pair of overalls that mimicked Jordie’s well-known look from the previous season of Survivor.
Jordie was also interested in learning how her pregnancy was doing, which she affirmed had been going well.
‘Babe, everything has come back completely great,’ she remarked. It’s growing so beautifully, and it’s healthy. The world is perfect.
After only five months of dating, the couple got engaged in July, and in September they revealed they were expecting a child.
