In anticipation of her return to the ITV serial opera Coronation Street, star Lucy Fallon delighted fans with a photo in which she was seen posing with her on-screen family.
After a three-year hiatus, during which the actress gave birth to her first child, Sonny, with footballer partner Ryan Ledson, Lucy Fallon is ready to return to her role as Bethany Platt.
Bethany left Coronation Street in 2020 to take a job in London, but she will soon be moving back to Manchester to be with her family again.
Lucy has already reunited with her on-screen family away from the cobblestones, and she pleased fans with a photo of their reunion.
At Tina O’Brien’s 40th birthday party, the celebrities gathered and couldn’t resist posing for the family photo.
Lucy stood in the photo between David Platt actor Jack P Shepherd and Sarah Platt’s on-screen mother Tina.
Paddy Bever and Julia Goulding, who play Max Turner and Shona Platt, were also in the photo.
The five smiled for the camera, evidently having a great time. They appeared to be a close-knit group.
The Instagram image delighted fans, who immediately entered the comments section to express their opinions.
Reunion of the Platt family! In allusion to the fact that uncle Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is the latest serial killer on the street, one fan said, “Bethany, be careful – Steven may kill you.”
Another person commented, “Love the Platts,” and a third, “The Platt family portrait.”
Lucy earlier shared a different photo from the occasion, in which she reconnected with Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker, Bethany’s ex-boyfriend.
