A new Coronation Street spoiler video has unveiled the moment Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) confesses to striking Joel Deering (Calum Lill) with a crowbar on the night of his death.
Last week, Dee-Dee admitted to her father Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) that she had killed Joel in an act of self-defense. Although Ed was convinced she wasn’t the killer, since she hadn’t been the one to dispose of Joel’s body in the river, Dee-Dee continued to be consumed by guilt.
With her uncle Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) still under suspicion for the murder, Dee-Dee decides to go to the police in upcoming scenes.
In the new spoiler video, Dee-Dee confesses to DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that she was the anonymous caller who contacted him the night of Joel’s death, revealing she struck him with a crowbar. She insists to Kit that it was an act of self-defense and that Joel was still alive when she left him.
However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when Kit uncovers another key piece of evidence.
Will Dee-Dee be arrested, or is there another person involved in Joel’s murder?
Fans will finally learn the truth about Joel’s killer in a special episode on Friday, November 15, which will revisit the night of his death through flashbacks and police interviews. Multiple characters remain suspects, each with a motive, but who will be revealed as the true killer?
