Following Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) spectacular return to EastEnders, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is experiencing heartbreak.
Bobby seemed to be thinking the same things in tonight’s (August 30) episode about what this would entail for his developing relationship with Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) ever since we discovered that Cindy was truly Rose Knight.
Viewers will be aware that Lucy Beale, who happened to be Anna’s sister, died as a result of Bobby’s actions.
When she had no personal ties to Bobby’s past, Anna was okay with it, but Bobby was concerned that now that she understood who Lucy was, she may become uncomfortable.
He expressed his worries to his brother Peter (Thomas Law), saying he didn’t believe she would ever be able to forgive him.
Despite this, he made his way to Peggy’s to meet his pals since he knew he had to talk to her.
He finally got Anna to be by herself at that point, and he questioned if the incident had changed their dynamic.
It was obvious that Bobby had gone on too strong because Anna, who was still in shock by her mother’s presence, asked that he back off, leaving him hurt.
Best buddy Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), who had noticed the disturbance, rushed over as Bobby left the club to find out what had happened.
Before the two went to the bar to grab drinks, she gave him the reassurance that everything was alright.
It didn’t take them long, though, to leave the club together and head to the fish and chip restaurant, where Anna made an attempt to kiss Freddie.
She stated there was no relationship between her and Bobby when he paused and enquired as to whether Freddie was interested in her.
He admitted that he did, and the two soon lost control and became passionate on the floor of the chip shop.
Will they keep their passionate exchange a secret from Bobby, or will he suffer heartache upon discovering the truth?
