Watchers of Coronation Street have witnessed Liam Connor become the target of Mason Radcliffe and his gang, who bully students in schools.

As Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) discovers the severity of her son’s bullying, it appears that drama is ahead. According to official ITV soap opera spoilers, she will face Dylan Wilson (Liam Mccheyne) and Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) the following week.

She chastises the two and says that Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) will have to transfer schools as a result of their horrible bullying. Mason plays the whole thing off as a joke, but Dylan starts to feel uncomfortable.

Later, Liam stops by the salon to chat with Maria, telling her that she’s a good mother and that he loves her. He glances at her as he leaves, knowing that this might be their final encounter.

When a teacher at the school discovers Liam’s search history on the laptop he gave back, she becomes concerned. They call Maria after becoming alarmed by what they find and revealing Mrs. Crawshaw.

She doesn’t see a call from them, though, so the school chooses to try Gary Windass (Mikey North), his stepfather. Gary answers and rushes to the salon in an attempt to locate Maria.

Panic ensues when it is revealed that Liam has been looking into ways to end his life.

She is shocked, recalling her son’s earlier words of kindness to her, and she rushes back to the apartment in a last-ditch effort to locate Liam.

Will Maria arrive in time, or is poor Liam going to fulfill his threat?

Actress Samia Longchambon said of the upcoming plot: “Maria is really paranoid and understandably so.”

Considering that Liam comes from the Connor family and that Aidan Connor, Liam’s cousin, committed suicide, we have all experienced similar things.

“I don’t think she can leave Liam by himself without worrying about the worst.”

Coronation Street and the National Bullying Helpline have been collaborating to make sure Liam’s bullying narrative is presented as tactfully and truthfully as possible.

Iain Macleod, the executive producer, mentioned Liam’s bullying storyline and said it personally speaks to a lot of people.

He stated: “We thought it was critical to illustrate the psychological harm that bullying can inflict on its victims.

Particularly in the contemporary era, where kids encounter what can appear to be unavoidable instances of online harassment.

“Aggression can find you in the comfort of your own home; it doesn’t stop at the school gates.

“Having said that, it was also crucial that we conveyed some hope for Liam throughout the entire narrative, demonstrating that by speaking up at last, he can start to overcome his nightmare and start the healing process.

“We took great care in approaching this story, consulting with several specialized charities, and I believe the end product is a powerful, true, and essential story.”
