In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) makes a dramatic scene as the community gathers to bid a final farewell to Paul Foreman (Peter Ash).
Struggling with the grief of losing his beloved husband, Billy finds himself overwhelmed during the watch party for the launch of Paul’s ashes, as shown in a new clip.
Previously, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) received a video of Paul’s ashes being launched into space and arranged for everyone to watch it together at the Rovers.
As Paul’s loved ones come together for this emotional farewell, a visibly intoxicated Billy disrupts the gathering, openly criticizing the event. He declares it to be a mockery and laments that he never had the chance to truly say goodbye to Paul before he passed.

Bernie tries to reassure him, reminding him of the devotion he showed Paul, but Billy disagrees and shockingly admits he attempted to kiss Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) on the night of Paul’s funeral.
How will Paul’s family respond to this revelation? Later, Billy’s sorrow takes a risky turn when he drinks alone behind the factory, listening to recordings of Paul on his phone.

As his phone dies, Billy, intoxicated and shivering in the bitter cold, shuts his eyes, seemingly lost to his grief.
Worried, Bernie heads out to search for him and eventually finds him, freezing and unresponsive. But has she come just in time, or is it too late?
