ITV has revealed that residents of Coronation Street can expect some exciting scenes next week.
The most recent ITV soap opera spoilers suggest that Coronation Street’s residents may be in for more drama.
Watchers have witnessed Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) battle in the last few weeks to cope with his father walking off the cobbles. He’s starting to turn to alcohol, even though he’s trying to act brave.
He’s been able to hide his drinking from everyone, but it appears that he’s going to have to face the harsh truth about how bad his problem is. It’s not just Simon in Weatherfield dealing with drama.
After Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) came back, she didn’t take long to get back together with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). But as things with her money keep getting worse, she makes the ultimate betrayal.

Simon’s drink driving horror crash
After a night of drinking, Bobby Donovan (Jack Carroll) passes out on the couch and wakes up with a splitting headache, while Simon sneaks a sip of vodka.
Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) asks him to take Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) to his chess match at home.
But before long, the alcohol takes its toll, and Simon loses control of the vehicle, crashing it into a road sign.
He tells Sam to flee after ordering him to get out of the car out of fear. Later, he is forced to tell Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) the truth about what transpired.
Leanne is horrified by the situation as he confesses that he had consumed more alcohol than what was allowed.
Bethany betrays Daniel’s trust
Bethany makes the decision to research more after discovering that there is more to the tale of Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) liaison with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).
She gently questions Daniel about the cat-fishing incident as he is getting ready for work, but he makes it plain he doesn’t want to talk about it. But Bethany is even more intrigued by this and won’t let the subject drop.
Subsequently, Daniel answers the editor of Chit-Chat Magazine’s call on her phone, but he doesn’t know why they’re calling.
Trapped and in need of money, Bethany can only confess to Daniel that she has written an article for the magazine about him, Daisy, and Ryan.
Daniel is shocked by the betrayal; could this mean that their romance will never again blossom?
Tracy’s affair is rumbled by Steve
As she seizes a moment with him in the shop, it’s obvious that Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) are drawn to each other.
She advises him to pick up his invoice at the shop tomorrow since it will be their last opportunity to spend time together without Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
She is unaware, though, that her husband has made the decision to come home early and has prepared a delicious French buffet for the two of them to savor.
As he discloses his intentions to win Tracy over and restore their spark, his wife is caught kissing Tommy in the store after changing the sign to “closed.”
He yells that he knows she’s inside the store as he approaches and discovers it’s locked. Steve is shocked by what he’s just interrupted as Tracy carefully opens the door with Tommy trailing behind her.
