1. A shock for Bethany
After being discharged from the hospital, Bethany returns home, and Sarah tries to help her settle back into the flat. However, Sarah grows concerned when Bethany suddenly breaks down in tears. Later, while Sarah goes out for groceries, Bethany hears a noise and is startled to discover that it’s not her mum—it’s an intruder.
2. A dangerous visitor
As a man in a balaclava ransacks the flat, Bethany desperately tries to hide, but will he spot her? Meanwhile, with Damon having been desperately trying to get in touch with Sarah, is the intruder something to do with the missing money?
3. Is Dee-Dee having doubts?
Lauren shows up at Dee-Dee’s with flowers to express her gratitude for offering her a room at the flat. Later, Lauren’s social worker visits to discuss the upcoming move for Lauren and Frankie, but the mention of Joel triggers some sadness in Dee-Dee. She begins to question whether she can handle the reality of Joel’s baby son moving in with them.
4. Leanne’s sad goodbye
As Nick and Leanne sort through their belongings in preparation for her departure from the flat, Sam struggles to conceal his sadness over what feels like a permanent split. Overwhelmed by memories of Oliver, Leanne reflects on their time together as she leaves. Nick expresses his apologies for how things have turned out between them, unaware that he and Toyah are on the brink of reigniting their relationship.
5. Gail’s medical emergency
After Carla announces that she has made an offer on the Platt house, Shona and David find themselves in a heated argument with Gail over the sale. Gail finally chases them out, feeling relieved to enjoy some peace and quiet with Jesse. However, later on, Jesse stumbles upon something intriguing in the cupboard, but his attention quickly shifts when he notices Gail struggling to breathe and clutching her arm. Before long, Gail is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
6. Ches’ race against time
As Gemma struggles to cope back at work, Kit suggests she take a break in a cottage in the Lake District owned by a friend. While Ches is left to care for the kids, he becomes preoccupied with work and misses an important message notifying him that Joseph’s ski trip flight has been moved up. Now, he must hurry to get Joseph to the airport on time.
7. Love for Max and Lauren
Bobby finds Max and Lauren together and demands to know why they are avoiding him. She tries to make it up to Bobby by inviting him to visit Frankie at the hospital. However, Lauren is later taken aback when Max confesses that he has feelings for her… but she admits she feels the same.
