ITV spoilers indicate that Coronation Street is experiencing more drama. A heartbreaking suicide scare occurs, Lauren Bolton’s truth is revealed, and Billy Mayhew gets red in the face.
The most recent spoilers for the ITV soap opera suggest that trouble is on the way for Weatherfield’s residents.
Viewers of Coronation Street have witnessed Billy Mayhew (played by Daniel Brocklebank) struggle with persistent back issues in recent scenes. He’s been taking painkillers to try and stave off the agony he’s been experiencing.
But judging from his sudden and violent outburst, it appears that the combination of the painkillers and the pills will catch up with him. In another scene, Samia Longchambon’s character Maria Connor finds out how bad her son has been bullied and goes up to the two of them.
Though it might be too late for her to intervene as Liam’s (Charlie Wrenshall) mental state rapidly deteriorates. As her friends discover the truth, Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) secret is ultimately made public.
An overview of what ITV viewers can anticipate seeing in Coronation Street next week can be found on Express.co.uk.
Liam Connor’s suicide scare
After realizing how severely her son has been mistreated, Maria makes the decision to speak with Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) and Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan).
She scolds them both and gets upset that Liam has to change schools as a result of their horrible behavior. Dylan is embarrassed by the whole situation, but Mason finds it funny.
Later, when Liam visits Maria at the salon, he tells her that he loves her and that she is a good mother. He gives her one last look before turning to go, knowing it might be his last.
When a teacher at his school notices Liam’s search history, she becomes concerned and shows it to Mrs. Crawshaw, who chooses to attempt contacting Liam’s parents.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) answers the phone and informs Maria that Liam has been looking into ways to end his life, even though Maria misses the call.
Maria is shocked when, recalling what Liam had previously told her, she dashes back to the apartment in an attempt to locate Liam before it’s too late.
Billy Mayhew lashes out
Billy plans a sidecar and motorcycle ride for Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) on Valentine’s Day despite the fact that his back is still giving him trouble.
Billy takes a few painkillers and, wincing, tries to hide his suffering from his husband before going to the Bistro.
When Paul arrives, he is overjoyed to see the barbershop quartet Billy has prepared as a surprise for him.
But when Benno, one of Paul’s old school pals, stops by to say hello while he’s out on a stag do, the atmosphere is swiftly destroyed.
When Billy, who is obviously intoxicated, tries to make Paul dance with him, Billy gets furious and punches Benno.
Lauren Bolton’s secret exposed
Lauren has been hiding a secret boyfriend for the past few months, who has been supporting her financially.
However, it appears that this week’s assistance with the troubled teen is over.
Lauren gives the enigmatic man a call as she gets home and discovers a last demand from her energy provider.
She told the person on the other end that she no longer wanted anything to do with them, making it obvious that she didn’t need their money.
Later, after seeing Lauren, Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) are shocked by her attractive outfit.
When she is discovered, she comes clean and grudgingly admits that she receives payment for creating videos for the adult-only subscription service O-Vidz.
