EastEnders has announced the highly anticipated return of Bernie Taylor to Albert Square, according to new advanced spoilers.
Last month, Bernie discovered the truth about her brother Keanu’s murder when Linda Carter confessed to stabbing him on Christmas Day. The rest of The Six later admitted they were present when Keanu died, leading to Bernie’s anger over their betrayal.
It was initially thought that Bernie intended to go to the police with this revelation, despite Linda’s confession being dismissed at the station. However, it was later clarified that Bernie left the Square for Germany, likely to visit her brother Keegan.
After being off-screen since early September, the BBC has confirmed that Bernie will make a dramatic return on Monday, November 11. Later that week, she is expected to “make some demands.” What could she want, and will it relate to The Six?
Bernie isn’t the only character making a comeback; Eve will also return from visiting her injured mother in Yorkshire, and she’ll be in for a big surprise. This revelation is likely tied to a deal Suki made with her ex-husband Nish after he learned the truth about Keanu’s murder, meaning her fiancé will have some explaining to do.
Additionally, viewers can expect a new character in Walford next month, as Teddy will face an “unwelcome blast from the past.” Could this be his ex-wife Nicola, or is it someone else entirely?
