EastEnders fans are buzzing with theories that a major character may soon exit the show due to a shocking storyline involving Kat Slater and her son, Tommy Moon.
Recently, the focus has been on Kat, played by Jessie Wallace, and her son Tommy, portrayed by Sonny Kendall, as they navigate a troubling narrative of child-to-parent abuse.
Tommy’s troubling behaviour began earlier this year after Kat’s breakup with Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden.
It escalated from skipping school and shoplifting to a more serious incident in July when he physically assaulted Kat.

On an EastEnders fan page on Facebook, viewers are discussing the possibility that Tommy’s storyline could lead to his exit from Walford, potentially resulting in jail time.
One fan wondered, “What direction do we think the storyline with Tommy is heading?” while another suggested, “I think Kat might end up calling the police or someone, and Tommy will get arrested,” according to the Daily Star.
A third viewer predicted darker outcomes, stating, “He could either end up putting Kat or one of the boys in the hospital… Perhaps social services will intervene and take him away.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan commented, “He’s trying to be a mini Phil but has taken it too far… He’s either going to jail or end up dead.”
The shocking scenes in which Tommy violently attacked his mother, Kat, left many viewers horrified. One stunned fan exclaimed on social media, “WAIT?? TOMMY PUNCHED KAT IN THE EYE??? This needs to end.”
