Fortunately, it seems to be a positive twist amid the recent turmoil and heartache that Alfie has faced. Shane revealed that something occurring next week will leave Alfie surprised, as he doesn’t see it coming.
This development could change everything for both Alfie and the show, especially with viewers increasingly hoping for a reconciliation between him and his iconic ex, Kat Slater. Spoilers indicate that Kat will turn to Alfie for support during her struggles with their teenage son, Tommy Moon.
With Tommy exhibiting violent behavior towards her and his siblings, resulting in him being taken out of the family home, Kat is desperate to bring her son back. When asked if a reunion was in the cards, Shane teased, “Fans are always curious about whether they’ll get back together. There’s a whole generation who grew up with Kat and Alfie as the ultimate couple, and now they’re in their 40s.
