In upcoming EastEnders episodes, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) will have to deal with the appearance of her grandson Peter (Thomas Law), and there will undoubtedly be a crucial conversation to have.
When Kathy learned that her son Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) had abused Peter last year, she was appalled. However, she persuaded her grandson to keep quiet about the incident.
But once Peter became increasingly agitated by Ben, he denounced him to the police, which saddened Kathy.
She renounced Peter in a fit of rage, finding it repugnant that he would turn against his own family in this manner.
From that point on, things only got worse when Peter fled the Square while carrying Kathy’s savings!
In following scenes, Kathy will get dragged into providing catering for Anna Knight’s (Molly Rainford) 21st birthday celebration after returning from her ideal honeymoon.
She encounters none other than Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) as she is preparing the food, which comes as a huge shock to her.
The scenes that follow are intense, as you might anticipate, as chaos breaks out at No. 45.
Cindy admits during the argument that Peter has also returned to Walford.
After being contacted by half-brother Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), who had been unable to reach Peter while Kathy was abroad, Peter returned to Walford.
He called his brother for assistance out of concern that she had made the decision to sell the Chippy.
Soon after, Kathy believes it is time to talk to Peter, and they share their feelings.
Will they be able to reconcile or will there be another furious argument?
