EastEnders has unveiled a new challenge for Alfie and Kat after their reunion.
In this week’s episodes, the iconic couple reignited their romance, but signs of tension quickly emerged.
Thursday’s (November 7) episode kicked off with Alfie feeling anxious after spending the night with Kat. He struggled with performance issues during their intimate moment, which left him questioning whether he would ever have a normal sex life again after his recent prostate cancer treatment.
Kat didn’t initially realize the impact this had on Alfie, and he later became upset in the Vic when he wrongly assumed Kat had been discussing his bedroom issues with Mo Harris.
Mo tried to help them reconnect by speaking to Alfie, who felt embarrassed that “everyone on the Square” knew about his “personal, private medical problem.”
“I feel like I’m past it, but Kat isn’t, and that’s kinda the end of the story,” Alfie admitted.
Mo reassured Alfie that the most important thing was making Kat happy and reminded him that the whole Slater family had his back.
Soon after, Kat and Alfie had an emotional, yet sometimes humorous, heart-to-heart where they agreed to work through their bedroom issues.
“I love you, Alfie Moon,” Kat said, to which Alfie responded, “I love you, Kat Slater!”
The couple shared a tender kiss before opening a box that Mo had left for them. Viewers will have to wait until next week to see what was inside.
