Fans of EastEnders were on the edge of their seats as Bobby Beale failed to notice a significant hint about Rose Knight’s true identity.
Fans of EastEnders are in a rage and shouting at their televisions out of fury after Bobby Beale (played by Clay Milner Russell) missed a crucial hint about Rose Knight’s true identity, which is none other than Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
With Bobby’s help, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) has been on a quest to learn the truth about her mother in recent weeks.
Despite being Cindy, Anna’s mother has been going by Rose because she is in witness protection.
Anna has been frantically looking for information ever since George, Anna’s father (Colin Salmon), learned about her secret.
The birth dates of Anna’s siblings, Peter and Lucy Beale, are engraved on a necklace that her mother gave her. Unbeknownst to Anna, this date contains a vital piece of information regarding Cindy’s real identity.
Fans expected Bobby to connect the dots when she showed him the necklace in Tuesday night’s episode.
Twitter was used by viewers to vent their annoyance and eagerness. Fan: “Really thought Bobby was going to see the date on the locket there. I was stressing throughout that scene.”
One viewer asked incredulously, “How has Bobby not clocked the date on the necklace?” while another begged Bobby to examine the item more closely.
Another statement: “OMG. Bobby was right there with Anna’s necklace with the twins’ birthdates on it.” (sic)
Others pondered whether Bobby would eventually investigate the jewellery more and draw conclusions. “Bobby has seen the neckless!” a viewer said. It’s undeniably a unique piece of jewellery. Will he ever examine it more closely and make the connections?
Viewers saw Anna meeting with a private investigator on the show on Tuesday as she looked for information.
Gina, her sister, objected, but Anna went forward with the meeting. She later told her father about what she had done, but he tried to talk her out of it.
But in a cliffhanger conclusion, the detective showed up at the Queen Vic and asked Anna to call him because he knows something about Rose.
This year, Cindy Beale and her ex-husband Ian Beale both returned to the BBC serial opera. Ian wanted to go back to Walford at the moment, but Cindy said she was happy where she was.
Cindy will be returning to Walford this summer, along with Ian and their son Peter, it has been announced. The residents of Walford believe Cindy is dead, so when the Beale family shows up, there will be fireworks in the square.
