Emmerdale viewers are abuzz with speculation that the late Zak Dingle (portrayed by Steve Halliwell) might have fathered a secret daughter who’s already living in the village.
In Friday evening’s emotional scenes, Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Horley) opened up to his siblings Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Sam (James Hooton), prompting them to reflect all night on cherished memories of their father, as Cain took on the role of the family’s new “head.”
The day before, the Dingle family gathered to bid farewell to Zak at his funeral. As the family patriarch, Zak had expressed clear wishes for his send-off, requesting a burial at home and one last journey through the village among the people he cherished.
However, the service took an unexpected twist when an uninvited guest interrupted, claiming to be another of Zak’s children and demanding a share of his inheritance.
As reported by Leeds Live, Tina Dingle (played by Samantha Power) arrived determined to assert her claim and take control of the situation.
During the heated confrontation, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) stepped forward with crucial information: Zak had indeed prepared a will and entrusted it to her.
Lydia sternly put Tina in her place, warning, “Insult my Sam again, and you’ll regret it. As for the house, Zak did make a will, and he left it in my care.”
She went on to explain that the letter Cain had discovered in the house was a key part of Zak’s legacy, confirming that the property was left to Sam, Belle, and Cain.
