Emmerdale fans are increasingly convinced they’ve figured out the mystery behind Jade’s (Twinnie-Lee Moore) true identity, with many speculating that she might hold the key to Rebecca’s (Emily Head) disappearance.

In recent episodes, viewers saw Jade blackmail Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) into fighting each other for money. Although Billy won their first fight, Jade made it clear she wasn’t backing down.

In Tuesday’s episode, Jade resorted to violence, sending one of her associates to deliver a brutal punch to Ross, forcing him to agree to a rematch with Billy.

“You could’ve just returned my call,” Ross remarked, to which Jade coolly replied, “I thought you’d prefer a more personal touch.”

Despite the blow, Ross stood firm, saying, “Like I said in my text, I’m not interested in a comeback fight.”

Unfazed, Jade intensified her pressure, telling Ross, “I lost big on that fight. You and Billy owe me. I want it back with interest. There’s going to be a rematch.”

When Ross expressed concerns about fighting again due to his son, Jade was unrelenting: “You fight, and Charity stays safe, and so does your kid.”

She then reminded him, “I’ve got a reputation to uphold.”

The tension escalated when Jade later showed up at Billy’s doorstep, threatening his family to coerce him into the fight.

“Just show up and fight,” Jade demanded of Billy. “I’d hate to take your wife to a crack den, but if I must, I’ll do it. Though your kids would be an easier target.”

Since Jade’s arrival in the village, Emmerdale fans have been buzzing with theories about her true identity. Some believe she may be linked to Rebecca’s storyline, particularly since Ross had previously seemed to confirm her death.

One fan shared their theory on a Facebook group dedicated to the show: “Maybe Jade’s hiding Rebecca somewhere because Ross didn’t follow her rules?”

Another agreed, saying, “I thought the same.”

Some viewers remain unconvinced by Rebecca’s death. One pointed out, “Rebecca’s name isn’t even on the death list on the fandom page. I’ve just checked. Maybe she’s not dead after all.”

Adding to the speculation, another fan suggested, “I think she’s going to turn up at some point,” while another confidently stated, “Don’t worry, Victoria Marple is on the case.”

A fellow viewer echoed, “Nosey Victoria will find out.”

One more fan questioned the plausibility of Rebecca’s supposed death, asking, “If she’s been dead for months, why is her phone still ringing after six months of inactivity? It should have cut off by now.”
