Emmerdale ‘reveals’ who puts Ross in his place – and it’s not Jade

Emmerdale’s Ross Barton (Michael Parr) may soon regret crossing Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) as the pair consider taking matters into their own hands.

Since returning to the village last week, Ross has caused chaos, from endangering his son Moses’ life twice to attempting to drive a wedge between Mack and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). With his list of enemies growing, Billy is now set to be the next to feel Ross’ wrath.

Ross previously clashed with Billy during an illegal boxing match organized by Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), who is now demanding a rematch after the last bout ended unfavorably. Billy initially refused but was forced to agree when Jade threatened his loved ones. Meanwhile, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) remained unaware of her husband’s involvement in the illegal fight until Clemmie and Lucas went missing on Wednesday (November 6).

It turned out the children were just playing, but by then, Billy had already confessed to Dawn.

After the initial fallout, Dawn, with some help from Ross, hatched a plan: Billy would intentionally lose the rematch after three rounds, allowing Ross to win, which would be more profitable. Ross was on board, but Billy flatly refused to let Ross win. Dawn urged Billy to set aside his pride for the sake of the family’s future.

Billy eventually agreed, but later confided in Mack about his frustrations with Ross. Mack, equally fed up with Ross after the latter’s attempt to kiss Charity, suggested that someone should teach Ross a lesson. Billy seemed intrigued by the idea.

The question remains: will Billy take action and put Ross in his place? And how will this affect the outcome of the fight?
