Emmerdale has surprised viewers with the unexpected return of a killer character just months after their imprisonment.
Fans of the long-running ITV soap witnessed Angelica King being sent to prison following the death of Heath Hope. The teenager, portrayed by Rebecca Bakes, admitted to driving Wendy Posner’s stolen car when the accident occurred involving her, Cathy, and Heath. She was sentenced to eight months in a secure children’s facility.
In a shocking twist for the residents of Emmerdale, the troubled teen made her return to the village tonight. She was greeted warmly by her parents, Jimmy and Nicola, but not everyone was thrilled to see her back.
As Angelica stepped out of the car, she encountered Bob Hope, Heath’s father, who appeared visibly shaken. He quickly left after noticing that Angelica was wearing Heath’s jumper, a gift from him.
Later at the pub, Bob was joined by Laurel Thomas, who expressed her concern for him, admitting she also felt uneasy about Angelica’s return. Bob shared, “Angelica is back in the village,” and when Laurel pointed out that he must have known she was coming out, he responded, “I did, yeah. I suppose I just didn’t want to think about it.”
