In Emmerdale, the character Tom King, played by James Chase, was recently arrested as part of an investigation into his abusive behavior toward Belle Dingle, portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper. Though he was later released, the police inquiry is still underway.

Fans believe Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is plotting to take Tom down in a new revenge scheme. The arrest came after Nicola brought her stepson Carl (Charlie Munro Joyce) to the police station to reveal Tom’s manipulation over a missing tablet. This tablet holds vital evidence of Tom’s abuse toward Belle.

Carl confessed that Tom had threatened him about the tablet before breaking it to cover his tracks. In the October 31 episode, DS Foy (Robert Cavanah) questioned Tom further, presenting evidence that he had purchased multiple cameras to spy on Belle, showing his increasing control over her. DS Foy, convinced of Belle’s account, also confirmed that despite undergoing mental health treatment, Belle was completely coherent when reporting Tom’s abuse.

A potential lead emerged as DS Foy informed Tom that investigators had recovered the broken tablet, which an IT team would examine for any recoverable data.

Returning home, Tom was greeted by Nicola, who, now aware of his abusive actions, appeared determined to hold him accountable. Later, Tom discovered that someone had vandalized his car. Nicola, disturbed by the entire situation, called it “crazy” and vowed to see him exposed.

Viewers speculate that Nicola may be behind the car vandalism and is intent on seeking revenge against Tom. One viewer wrote on social media, “I’m betting Nicola’s the one who smashed Tom’s car window! #Emmerdale.”

Another fan cheered, “Go on, Nicola, take him down! #Emmerdale,” while someone else predicted, “Tom’s about to be stabbed next week, and I’ve got a feeling Nicola’s behind it #Emmerdale.”

Another viewer noted, “I never thought by the end of Belle’s abuse storyline, I’d be rooting for Nicola #Emmerdale,” while another added, “I’m so glad Nicola sees Tom for the monster he is – it never made sense that she sided with him in the first place #Emmerdale.”
