Because of Martin Fowler’s increasing suspicions about the stalker, EastEnders viewers think they have identified Theo Hawthorne as the person who was mysteriously slain at Christmas.
EastEnders viewers think that spooky Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), who Martin Fowler (James Bye) has started to feel is not quite right, is the victim of the Christmas murder plot.
Fans of the BBC soap opera believe that Martin’s suspicions about Theo’s motivations toward his ex-wife Stacey (Lacey Turner) will ultimately result in his death and that this will be a part of the massive Christmas storyline, which has already been hinted at in a flash forward from earlier this year.
The video clip shows Stacey and six other matriarchs of Albert Square involved in a murder-related plot twist when a mystery male character is killed on Christmas Day in The Queen Vic.
Viewers now feel that Theo is the victim and have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their theories after Stacey was suggested as the murderer.
He’s [Theo] genuinely acting like her knight in shining armor, as @lynxsimba2019 pointed out. The flashforward saw Staceys standing before the armor. Who the deceased body belongs to in #Eastenders #Theo is clear. (sic)
“Absolutely reaching with this tweet, but hear me out,” a supporter using by the handle @mitch22336 wrote. Theo is the Christmastime corpse. For us to have months of theories about who the character is, Clenshaw did the flash forward. THEOry. EastEnders was the solution, which was concealed. (sic)
“My guess to whose dead body is on Christmas Day is…,” @dougray71 guessed. @bbceastenders Theo! Stacey, Eve, and Suki are all out for blood! #Eastenders. (sic)
I wonder whether the dead body at Christmas is going to be Theo? #EastEnders, wondered user @candycain_.
@gothicyogini isn’t even interested in waiting till Christmas to say goodbye to Theo.
Last week, fans watched Martin start to wonder why Theo keeps hanging out with him, and he told Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) about his concerns about the teacher.
After a few weeks of being away from home for business in another country, Martin was surprised to learn how well-liked Theo had become to Stacey.
Fans watched in horror as Theo faked a break-in, which made Stacey fearful that her stalker was too near for comfort. In fact, after his return, Theo intensified his infatuation with Stacey.
He is quite suspicious of Theo and has been wondering why he spends so much time with Stacey and gives his daughter Lily (Lilia Turner) free tuition even though he hasn’t yet realized that he is Stacey’s stalker.
As Stacey continues to live in fear for the foreseeable future, viewers will have to wait and see if Martin is able to identify Theo as the individual who has been terrorizing his ex-wife.
