After undergoing surgery for his wound from being shot by a bullet intended for someone else, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is now prepared for physical therapy. He will be working with a physical therapist to help him regain the remaining strength he has because he is paralyzed from the waist down. Roy, the expert who will assist Curtis, is portrayed by Mykel Shannon Jenkins. Jenkins won the first season of I Wanna Be A Soap Star in 2024, and he has appeared in daytime shows such as GH (as a cop played by Bryan Murphy) and CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful (as a cop played by Charlie Baker).
