A furious Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will let Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) have it, including hurling a pia colada in his face, according to General Hospital spoilers and updates.
She is really furious that Martin won’t even help her in court when Deception Cosmetics is being sued for intellectual property theft in relation to “The Deceptor”!
Martin Grey Has Some ‘Splainin’ To Do in General Hospital
Martin needs to “explain” to Lucy the significance of all those sizable payments from his third ex-wife for one, made on a Pine Valley bank.
But what truly irks her is that despite having legal expertise, he refuses to assist her because, in her opinion, he is too preoccupied with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Lucy’s knowledge of the payments has probably taken Martin by surprise, and she is holding his feet to the fire by demanding that he put Lucy’s demands ahead of those of his greatest client.
When Lucy tells Martin that she needs Martin, he only reminds her that Valentin needs him, which infuriates Lucy.
She gets angry because of the ex-wife, the things he’s been hiding, and the fact that he won’t stand by her side in court.
GH Spoilers: Relax, This Is Why
When Martin explains why he is keeping quiet about his third ex paying him, Lucy does start to calm down a little bit.
He claims he was just too ashamed to tell her, but to Lucy, this sounds like a retraction and an excuse.
Lucy can kind of sort of understand why a man could feel awkward about his ex paying him instead of the other way around in terms of payments.
Martin had indicated the third ex was the worst, but she’s still sending him money even though she knows his previous ex-wives are gobbling up his alimony payments?
Lucy’s thoughts start to run. Does he have something on her that he’s using as leverage to blackmail her over?
However, she feels that the issue with Deception must come first, so she puts an end to the argument with Martin.
Spoilers for General Hospital: Courtroom Surprises
Lucy and her coworkers enter the courtroom with their new legal representative Elise (Carly Hughes).
But when they realize who the opposition attorney is—Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey)—it quickly becomes clear how serious these allegations are, especially to Lucy. In fact, Jackson had threatened to kill Lucy after she and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) broke into his office and stole from his safe, but a mutual acquaintance persuaded Jackson to back off.
Jackson was temporarily put on hold after receiving a call from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who she knew from their time together in Pine Valley.
However, things get even worse when Lucy learns who Jackson’s client is and accuses Lucy and her team of stealing the concept!
