Cameron Mathison: A Dog’s Best Friend
As a cancer survivor, Mathison posted on Instagram, “As a cancer survivor, it’s so hard to see others receive that dreaded diagnosis,” along with an emoji of her hands in prayer. He continued by saying that Red, his cherished Doberman dog, isn’t doing too well. “Red received a cancer diagnosis of the Multiple Myeloma type a few months ago. His back legs are paralyzed since it is inside his spine.
“The prognosis isn’t good, but with the help of [2 Hands 4 Paws Foundation] (thank you [Larissa Alexis Wohl]), we are doing our best to keep his quality of life the best we can for the time he has left,” Mathison continues. I adore you, Red.We are doing our best to express our gratitude to you because you have been so kind to us over the past 11 years.
2 Hands, 4 Paws
The 2 Hands 4 Paws Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides pets with special difficulties with mobility by using the Instagram handle @2h4pfoundation. During this trying time, Mathison’s friends from the day are sending him encouraging letters. “You’re all so incredible!” Red, you’ve got this,” said Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea, The Young and the Restless), who portrayed Annie opposite Ryan Mathison on All My Children. Anna from GH and Alex, Anna’s twin on AMC, Finola Hughes stated, “Sending so much love to you and Red.”
Cameron Mathison: Inspiring Tail
On Mathison’s Instagram account, other GH friends including Laura Wright (Carly), Tamara Braun (ex-Kim; Ava, Days of our Lives), and Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter) also expressed their love and support. Red has the finest dad,” Mathison’s wife Vanessa, who played Mia on GH in 2022, wrote.
The inspirational true story about his own pet was presented by Chris Gaida, writer, producer, and author of Arm Candy: A Celebrity Escorts Tales from the Red Carpet. Gaida wrote on Facebook, “My dog had cancer; it was removed, but we were told she would only live to last October.” She is still alive, and it appears like the cancer has been cured. They are unaware of what took transpired. Sometimes, lots of love and medical care can be effective.”
Soap Hub sends Red the best wishes along with Mathison’s friends and admirers. Check out the actor’s tribute to Red in the video down below. He fittingly set the video to the Jack Johnson song “Better Together.”
