Next week in EastEnders, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is set to unleash a ruthless blackmail scheme against Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Tensions have been high between the two men ever since Harry entered Walford and began dating Jack’s daughter, Penny (Kitty Castledine). Jack, fiercely protective of Penny, made it clear he wanted Harry to keep his distance when he spotted him day drinking at The Vic earlier this month.

Jack’s confrontational remarks didn’t go unnoticed by Teddy (Roland Manookian), who initially played it cool but later confronted Jack at No. 27, insisting he steer clear of his son.

The pair eventually came to blows last week after it was revealed that Jack had been blaming the wrong person for the club crush at Peggy’s.

Initially, it appeared that Penny was to blame, but it was later revealed that Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) had actually oversold the tickets in an attempt to sabotage her own job.

This revelation sparked a massive confrontation in the Square, culminating in Jack throwing a punch at Harry. In the aftermath, Jack teamed up with Penny to take down her father, after acquiring footage of the fight from the devious Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall).

In upcoming scenes, the duo plans to use the video as leverage against Harry, leading Jack to The Arches to confront him and demand answers.

Harry insists that he should agree to his blackmail terms before the end of the week – what does he have planned?

Later, Jack confides in Penny about a troubling discovery he has made.

As the week progresses, Penny confronts Harry, but he quickly reassures her and calms her fears. However, the altercation only fuels his desire to retaliate against Jack, prompting him to return to No. 27 and announce that the deadline for his blackmail has been moved up to tomorrow.

In the end, Jack reluctantly decides to ignore Harry’s shady activities.

But it seems clear that this conflict is far from resolved!
