On Tuesday night, fans of Home and Away were treated to the wedding of the year.

Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, who play the adored characters Leah Patterson-Baker and Justin Morgan, respectively, exchanged vows in a breathtaking ceremony.

Any worries that things would take a dramatic turn were dashed as the ceremony proceeded flawlessly.

The wedding delighted viewers, but some viewers weren’t too eager to point out the episode’s missing aspects.

“It was a lovely wedding, but I wish there had been more cast members present instead of all the unknown extras,” commented one user.

“There were a lot of people who weren’t at the wedding, like Bree, Levi, Mac, Flick, Tane, and the two sisters,” said a different admirer.

Some users questioned why there was no ring exchange during the ceremony in the ‘rushed’ episode.

“A lovely wedding, but where were the rings and “I do” moments?” Someone penned.

“What a joke, seriously? Justin and Leah’s wedding was rushed, just like Tori and Christian’s was. There were no rings exchanged or I dos.”

For the momentous day, two individuals unexpectedly returned to Summer Bay.

The 31-year-old Matt Little, who played VJ Patterson from 2014 to 2017, made a surprise return.

Little returned to the role of Leah Patterson-Baker’s son, a beloved character.

When he left for Cyprus in 2017 with Luc, his late wife Billie’s child, his persona was last seen on screen.

Additionally, Penny McNamee, 41, made a return visit to the Bay in a cameo as Justin’s sister Tori Morgan, a well-liked figure.
