Here’s the first look at Harper and Dana.
Home and Away has unveiled the first look at two new characters involved in a mysterious storyline.
The soap has confirmed that Jessica Redmayne and Ally Harris will join the Home and Away cast as new sibling characters Harper and Dana.
While viewers will meet Harper and Dana for the first time when they debut on UK screens later in 2023, the sisters actually have a connection to a Summer Bay resident.
To find out why Harper and Dana are in Summer Bay and whether their reunion with an old friend will be amicable, viewers will have to tune in.
Jessica Redmayne, a graduate of Federation University Arts Academy’s Musical Theatre program, has been performing and dancing since she was a young child.
She previously acted in the Australian miniseries 800 Words, and she gained some soap opera experience while filling in for the infamous Fake Dee character in 2020 on Neighbours. Other credits include showing up in the Australian remakes of The Prisoner (Wentworth) and the legal comedy Fisk.
Ally Harris, her new co-star, has a strong professional background as well, having graduated from France’s esteemed Fontainebleau Conservatory of Music and Drama.
The Claremont Murders and Harrow are two true-crime television programs that Ally has appeared in. In addition to acting, Harris also works as a writer and producer. She has performed on stage with the A Midsummer Night’s Dream touring company.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
